Return & Refund Policy
The Short Version
We’re all about making people happy (and buzzed on cupcakes). If something’s wrong, talk to us — we’ll (try to) make it right. But remember, these luxuries are perishable, delicate and occasionally at the mercy of delivery drivers who take “fragile” as a suggestion.
Local Orders
If you’re picking up or getting local delivery, we’ll replace, remake, or refund your order (in part or in full) if:
- It arrives damaged or in no condition to party
- It shows up too late to be enjoyed
- It’s not what you ordered
Once cupcakes leave our hands, we can’t control what happens. But if your box looks like it did a keg stand in the car, reach out within 24 hours with photos. We’ll find a way to get you right side up.
Missed Deliveries:
We’ll do our best to reach you if we can’t deliver. If no one answers and we have to make a call on what to do next, we’ll use our best judgment. Re-delivery may require an additional fee.
Customer Errors:
If the address was entered incorrect or your cupcakes sat outside too long because your porch has trust issues, that’s on you. We’ll happily offer a discount or store credit for a replacement or future order on a case by case basis.
Shipped Orders
We package with high levels of distrust and concern, but once the package is in UPS’s hands, it’s out of ours (and into the wild west of conveyor belts and weather). We do not guarantee against:
- Late delivery due to carrier delays
- Melting or minor cosmetic imperfections during transit
- Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
If UPS takes the scenic route:
We can’t control carrier delays, but if your order shows up later than your hangover, reach out within 24 hours of delivery. We are a business, but we are not unreasonable. We'll still leave a good taste in your mouth whether it's a discount, store credit or a replacement, but sometimes it's just sympathy and a drink recommendation.
If we mess up:
Cupcakes are nothing compared to integrity. If Boozy Bakes ships to the wrong address or leaves something out, we’ll fix it fast — reship at no cost or refund your order.
How to Report a Problem
If you need to issue a warrant, don't spend too much time crying. You’ve got 24 hours from delivery or pickup to let us know about any issues.

- Your order number or the buyer's name
- Photos of the cupcakes and packaging
- A quick description of the problem
Refunds & Replacements
Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise. Sometimes we’ll offer store credit or a replacement instead, just depends on the situation and how much frosting therapy it takes to fix it.
